Compared to standard omnidirectional antennas, this directional pattern significantly increases forward signal range, improves link budget stability, and minimizes multi-path interference from the sides and rear. Measuring 5" x 5" x 1-1/4", the internal radiating patch elements are protected by a durable, UV-resistant radome housing. Its slim, square form factor allows it to be mounted discreetly on walls, poles, or building facades, making it ideal for both indoor commercial spaces and outdoor physical deployments where structural aesthetics must be maintained. The rear of the antenna features a flush-mounted, high-performance SMA Female (Jack) bulkhead interface, which contains external threads and a center female receptacle. This heavy-duty connector style allows network engineers to attach custom-length low-loss coaxial extension cables (such as LMR-200 or LMR-400) directly to the chassis, offering maximum installation flexibility for industrial access points and remote radio enclosures.
