TNC Female to UHF Female Adapter [RFS-100274]
The TNC Female to UHF Female Adapter enables TNC male-terminated cables to mate with UHF male (PL-259) plugs through a compact, in-line barrel interface. Operating at 50 Ohm impedance, this adapter is used in applications bridging the precision TNC connector family with the widely deployed UHF/SO-239 ecosystem found in amateur radio, marine radio, and legacy communications equipment. The TNC female end accepts a TNC male plug, offering the threaded, vibration-resistant connection characteristic of the TNC family. The UHF female end (SO-239 socket) accepts a standard UHF male PL-259 plug, providing access to the broad installed base of UHF-equipped transceivers, antenna switches, and RF accessories. This female-to-female configuration functions as a barrel coupler between the two connector standards, allowing direct connection without additional cable assemblies. Manufactured from gold-plated brass with PTFE dielectric, this adapter delivers reliable electrical and mechanical performance across HF, VHF, and UHF frequencies, making it a practical cross-standard interface tool for both field and laboratory use.
