BNC Male to RP-SMA Female Adapter [RFS-100016]
The BNC Male to RP-SMA Female Adapter provides a direct interface between BNC female jacks on test equipment and RP-SMA male-terminated cables or antenna pigtails used with consumer wireless devices. Operating at 50 Ohm impedance, this adapter is used in RF testing, antenna characterization, and wireless device integration where BNC-equipped instruments must connect to the RP-SMA ecosystem. The BNC male end plugs into BNC female jacks on signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other BNC-equipped RF instrumentation via the bayonet locking mechanism. The RP-SMA female end - with its external threads and internal male pin - accepts RP-SMA male plugs from antenna pigtails, extension cables, and RP-SMA-terminated coaxial assemblies used with Wi-Fi routers, access points, and wireless adapters. This adapter effectively allows a BNC instrument port to serve as a connection point for the RP-SMA cable ecosystem. Built from gold-plated brass with PTFE dielectric, this adapter ensures consistent signal integrity and mechanical reliability across the Wi-Fi frequency bands and broader RF test environments.
