BNC Male to SMA Female Adapter [RFS-100015]
The BNC Male to SMA Female Adapter is a cross-standard RF adapter that connects BNC female jacks to SMA male-terminated cables and equipment. At 50 Ohm impedance, this adapter is one of the most frequently used interface components in RF test and development environments, enabling the vast installed base of BNC-equipped instruments to accept SMA male inputs directly. The BNC male end plugs into BNC female jacks on oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, and BNC patch panels via the quick-release bayonet coupling. The SMA female end accepts SMA male plugs from RF modules, filters, attenuators, and SMA-terminated coaxial cables. This configuration is especially common when connecting newer SMA-equipped RF modules or components to legacy BNC test equipment, or when adapting SMA cable assemblies to BNC-terminated measurement ports. Built from gold-plated brass with PTFE dielectric, this adapter provides low insertion loss and reliable impedance matching from DC through the upper operating limits of the BNC connector family, supporting a wide range of professional RF measurement and development tasks.
