BNC Male to RP-SMA Male Adapter [RFS-100014]
The BNC Male to RP-SMA Male Adapter connects BNC female jacks to Reverse Polarity SMA (RP-SMA) female ports, bridging the standard BNC test and measurement ecosystem with consumer wireless equipment using the RP-SMA standard. At 50 Ohm impedance, this adapter is used in testing, evaluation, and integration of FCC-regulated Wi-Fi devices with BNC-equipped RF instrumentation. The BNC male end engages BNC female jacks on oscilloscopes, signal generators, and RF test equipment via the familiar bayonet coupling mechanism. The RP-SMA male end - featuring external threads with an internal hollow socket contact, the defining characteristic of the reverse polarity standard - mates with RP-SMA female ports on Wi-Fi routers, access points, and wireless adapters. This combination allows direct connection of consumer wireless devices to BNC-based test setups for RF performance analysis, regulatory testing, and antenna characterization. Constructed from gold-plated brass with PTFE dielectric, this adapter maintains low insertion loss and consistent impedance matching across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz Wi-Fi bands as well as broader RF test frequency ranges.
